In the Earth Wisdom traditions of the Mayan and pre-Mayan cultures, our Magical Child is one of the four primary ways that we humans manifest. It is that free and boundless part of us that calls to express itself through creativity, play, song, story, poetry, music and dance and much more.

In indigenous cultures, people live in harmony with Nature, and their seasonal ceremonies are a time to honour their relationship with the rhythms and cycles of Nature. This day will celebrate the beauty and bounty of the Mother Earth.

We invite you to join us to dance, sing, drum, paint and learn together, to express your playfulness and creativity. Bring your musical instruments, pencils, crayons and dress for celebration of your uniqueness and specialness.

As well as offering opportunities for learning and experiencing a wide range of creative expression, the day will build towards The Planetary Dance which will be led by Audicia Lynne Morley. This is a participatory dance where each step upon the Earth becomes a prayer for healing and peace.

We will begin at 10 a.m. and finish at approximately 5 p.m. A lunch will be provided. Bring clothing to be outside for the day, we will only be inside if there is heavy rain.

Cost for the day will be £35, concessions £25, Children are welcome and cost for under 16’s will be £8 for their lunch.

Our ceremony will be led by Patricia and Mike Bell, Ann Roberts and David Kell, all ‘graduates’ of the Ehama Institute, who carry an ancient body of wisdom from the Mayan culture, Audicia Lynne Morley Artistic Director of State Theta Galleries (www.statetheta.com) and Musician Derek Houghton.
