| To resolve the complex challenges that positive wellbeing and cohesive community present requires that we look from many perspectives to discover wise solutions. Logic does not provide the answers. This is the thinking behind this event. | ||||||

They carry an ancient body of wisdom, ways of balance and wholeness which come from a long oral tradition rooted in the Mayan and pre-Mayan cultures of the Americas. As Métis teachers, they have journeyed together since 1987 and continue to travel the world sharing the message of First Peace—living peace in the self. |

Our Western culture tends to focus on objectivity, logic and science, and great advances in technology, medicine and agriculture have be made. Yet we seem to have lost the happiness and community that imbued some older cultures. Christopher Columbus captured something of what we have lost in his logs from his first voyage in1492: “And the people are all so gentle… We cannot return to these times but perhaps we can learn some of their lessons and weave them into our modern lives in order to restore the personal wellbeing and community wholeness that we know is missing. WindEagle and RainbowHawk teach sophisticated and elegant practical maps of what it is to be a human in community in wholeness and balance. During the day we will:
